Black people are continuously accused of using the race card. What I never hear is how some White people do the same thing but in reverse. Donald Trump ran his Presidential campaign on racism and using stereotypes against Latinos to convince low encome White people to vote for him because he would give them jobs and stop illegal immigration.
It's important to note that the reason he was able to play that card against Latinos is because of this idea that illegal immigrants are stealing jobs from hard-working American citizens.
Now Trump is going after four non-white congresswomen and saying they should back to their countries. Trump would go on to say that these congresswomen come from countries with failed governments that are corrupt.
The problem is 3 out of 4 of these women were born in America, which speaks for the way racists truly think about non-whites. Racists tend to only see white people as Americans and everyone else is just a visitor, whether they were born in America or not.
Democrats always overreact whenever Trump says something racist. I personally feel that Trump knows exactly what he is doing and he knows his base. He says what his base wants to hear and what they want to hear is "White Power!".
Trump is a businessman at best but more importantly, he is a con-artist and Trumps supporters have been conned.
What they don't know and fail to understand is that Trump hatred is not limited to just Black and Brown people, Trump does not like anyone but himself.
They say there is a sucker born every day and Trump has found 40% of those suckers right here in America.
Tennesee GOV. Bill Lee signs a proclamation honoring early KKK member
Nathan Bedford Forrest. Despite backlash from the controversy, GOV. Bill Lee moved forward with the Proclamation, dubbing it "Nathan Bedford Forrest Day"
which caused Sen. Ted Cruz to tweet, "This Is Wrong".
Nathan Bedford Forrest was not only a member of the KKK but he was the first Grand Wizard and slave trader.
Most people are unaware that Tennessee is where the KKK was founded.
See reference below:
Rep. Steve Cohen Tweeted this response.
"We should not be honoring Nathan Bedford Forrest, the first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan and the perpetrator of the massacre at Fort Pillow. Gov. Lee should be bringing #Tennessee into the 21st century not backsliding into the 19th."
Tennessee has a long history of racism in its state and some Black people have claimed there are some areas that a Black person can't even drive through at night. The fact that the Governor of Tennessee would sign a proclamation honoring this racist scumbag is not only appalling but it says a lot about the state of Tennessee.
Presidential Candidate Pete Buttigieg faces issues in the Black community after a White police officer shot and killed a Black man that was allegedly holding a knife but the police officers body camera was not on so no one can verify if the person killed actually had a knife or not. Black people were in an uproar last week. Mayor Buttigeg was interrupted while speaking at a forum by angry citizens who some yelling that there is racist police officer in the department.
“ We have tried but not succeeded in bringing diversity into our police department and we need help.” Mayor Pete Buttigeg said.
The Mayor's statement was met with mixed reaction by the mostly Black crowd at the forum. The people voicing their concerns were very matter of fact about there being racists in the city's police department while Mayor Buttigieg seems to suggest that the racists need to be sought out.
“If anyone that is on patrol shown to be a racist or to do something racist in a way that is substantiated, then it will be his last day on the street.” - Mayor Buttigieg.
The timing of this is not good for the 2020 Presidential hopeful who has been seen as a pretty squeaky clean candidate up until now.
The Black Lives Matter chapter in Dayton Ohio is scheduled to hold a rally on Saturday, May 25. Unfortunately for them, they will be met with resistance as the hate group called the Honorable Sacred Knights, which is affiliated with the KKK in Indiana, will also be there to have a rally.
Black Lives Matter purposely scheduled their rally on this day to counter the KKK’s rally which already scheduled for May 25.
Carlos Buford, the organizer of the BLM chapter released a statement, explaining the reason for holding the rally on the same day as the KKK’s rally.
“Our Black community is facing astronomical levels of systemic racism and the launch of Black Lives Matter Dayton would like to be that bridge of hope for Black citizens by focusing on challenging laws and policies that keep Black people and communities oppressed and terrorized by police brutality,” Buford wrote on the group’s GoFundMepage.
Some people in the Dayton area fear that the event could turn into a powder keg.
The two sides may clash on this day in a way that is similar to Charlottesville.
First-grade teacher poses with a noose. No, I did not just make that up. I repeat a first-grade teacher posed with a noose and posted it on social media.
Four first grade teachers and a principal at Summerwind Elementary School in Palmdale have been suspended after a photo of them laughing and holding a noose was leaked.
So this is just the beginning. The Principal, Linda Brandt is the one who sent the emails out to her staff.
“You hate them, little black babies. You hate them, little Spanish babies. All them little minorities. You hate em!” Darrin Harper told Fox 11 on Thursday. “Because I know what she about. The pictures prove it, that’s what she about and that’s what she allow to go on. So she need to go.”
In this day and age where Black people constantly accused of race-baiting and you have ignorant so-called African Americans like Candace Owens, who believe that racism is no longer an issue, this report is very telling and shows just how far we to go. Racism is not a thing of the past, it is and always has been a part of Americana.
Before the racists get a chance to attack this message, let me just say that most of the school shootings are committed by White students. Secondly, these Black students have a reason to fear teachers being armed. Teachers are not trained police officers and lack the ability to implement the use of force. It is even fair to say that a good number of police officers lack the ability to implement the use of force.
I am in favor of increased law enforcement presence in the schools but armed teachers is just a step too far.
As it was admitted by a KKK member, White supremacist organizations have their members everywhere in America. The KKK member gleefully stated that there KKK members in politics, some of them are Judges, some of them are lawyers but the main thing that stuck out was how happy he was to admit that a lot of them are in law enforcement.
