Jim Carey is on the hitlist for right-wing websites. Carey put a target on his back when he sent a tweet scolding Mitch McConnell.
“10,000 gun deaths in 2019 and the year is far from over. What Osama bin Laden did to us was terrible but he doesn’t hold a candle to Mitch McConnell.” - Jim Carey
With so many people in Kentucky mad at Mitch for his mishandling of the coal miners black lung fund, you would think Mitch would not have as support as he does. However, after Jim Carey sent out that blistering tweet, a right-wing news site "Front Page Mag" ripped into Jim Carey and deemed him untrustworthy and pretty much-rejected the idea of Carey having an opinion. Of course, the site made it a left-wing issue.
The Front Page Mag editor went on an epic rant defending Moscow Mitch's record, attempting to debunk the history of gun violence in America and blamed liberal media for bringing awareness to the violent nature of white supremacist groups.
What gets me is right-wing blogs are always calling liberals snowflakes and cry about media censorship. Often these bloggers are the most disrespectful writers who constantly talk about locking up Hillary Clinton and hanging Obama.
Yet when it comes to Moscow Mitch, they want lefties to leave him alone. Right-wingers are the real snowflakes. I am not a fan of liberals but conservatives are the bullies that beat people up but when someone punches them in the face they run and cry to their mommy.
So what if Jim Carey compared Mitch McConnell to Osama Bin Laden, it's no different from what conservatives have said about Obama and every other so-called liberal.
Donald Trump has been promising to bring back jobs to the coal miners and has ignored Democrats who proposed renewable energy-based jobs to replace coal. Republicans have played the “They wanna take your jobs away card!”, however, victims of Black Lung Disease in Kentucky are being ignored by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Last week 120 coal miners from Kentucky traveled to Washington, DC to confront Mitch McConnell and pressure him into financing the Black Lung Disability Trust Fund, which has been so crucial to these retired coal miners and their families.
You would think that since Republicans always talk about how great coal miners are and since keeping coal miners jobs intact was a big part Donald Trumps 2016 Presidential election campaign, that Mitch McConnell would act fast to keep these coal miners happy but the exact opposite happened. The Coal Miners that came to speak with McConnell said he was “rude”.
George Massey, a coal miner from Kentucky said "We rode up here for 10 hours by bus to get some answers from him because he represents our state. For him to come in for just two minutes was a low-down shame."
Reuters reported, "Coal companies had been required to pay a $1.10 per ton tax on underground coal to finance the federal Black Lung Disability Trust Fund, which supports disabled miners whose employers go bankrupt and can no longer pay out medical benefits. But the amount reverted to the 1977 level of 55 cents [in January] after Congress declined to take action to maintain the rate."
Mitch McConnell blocks election security bill, claiming the President has already done enough to secure the nation's elections. Robert Mueller has stated that Russians are still meddling in the U.S political system and there is a chance Russia may meddle in the 2020 presidential election. McConnell blocking the election security bill has people all across the country outraged, taking to social media to voice their anger and frustrations.
