Last week Jim Acosta had his White credentials revoked. A rumored doctored video was released by Sarah Sander, who tweeted out a different version of the incident that took place between Jim Acosta and the White Staff member that rushed over to snatch the microphone out of his hand after Acosta asked Trump a question that Trump did not like.
Of course, Republicans tried to make it seem as if Acosta assaulted the female White House employee.
As of today, CNN has filed a suit against Trump for wrongfully taking away Acosta’s credentials. It seems like CNN has a good case against Trump because even a Fox News adviser has stated that Trump will like lose this suit in court.
The only justifiable way Trump can take away Acosta’s White House pass is if Acosta attacked someone or put someone in danger. Jim Acosta did not harm anyone nor did he put any White House staff members in danger.
Trump has a real problem with handling people who are not in favor of him and ask him tough questions. However, tough questions do not qualify as a reason to revoke someone’s press pass.
